For years, our highly educated and experienced staff has given an edge to thousands of young athletes across the world.
Our training cycles transcend all aspects of physiological development. Athletes are trained in areas of speed, agility, quickness, explosive training, weightlifting, conventional weight lifting, injury prevention movements, plyometrics, core, balance, functional training, bioenergetics related to the individual sport, nutrition, flexibility, proprioception, and various other practices.
Sports are not all physical. Enhancing performance begins with forming the confidence and motivation to push to be better. We take the extra step to mentally prepare young athletes for the rigors and adversities that may arise through their sport and in life.

Our baseball/softball programs are built to focus on the mechanics and movement patterns necessary to excel at any level of play. BARWIS baseball training focuses on improving rotational power, mobility exercises for injury prevention, speed and agility techniques, and strength where needed most for the demands of the sport. Our pro athletes down to our very own BARWIS Baseball youth teams learn that building the athlete is part of becoming a better player year after year.
We use our training tactics and individual assessment results to develop a personalized program. Through corrective exercises and training protocols that will improve what the athlete needs to focus on when it comes to speed, agility, strength, power, force, acceleration, deceleration, mobility, explosiveness, reaction, conditioning, balance, core stability, and confidence.
All of these dimensions of training are adapted and phased regularly for the individual athlete and the demands of his or her sport. Our personal training includes the highest level of training for ultimate performance results.
SMALL GROUP TRAINING
Our small group training is designed for groups of 2-4 people. We can design a customized program for any age of athletes, whether weight training, speed and agility, sport-specific, or overall fitness. Small group training pushes clients to stay accountable and accomplish their individual goals while working out together.
SPORT SPECIFIC TEAM TRAINING
There is no “cookie-cutter” or “one size fits all” performance training program. All of our dimensions of training are adapted and phased regularly for the team’s needs, time of year (in-season/off-season), and the demands of the specific sport. All BARWIS team training also includes injury prevention, which is an integral component in ensuring a team’s optimal performance throughout an entire season.
Team training is an opportunity to develop what your team needs to succeed and maximize potential: speed, agility, strength, power, force, acceleration, mobility, top speed, explosiveness, reaction, conditioning, balance, core stability, confidence, mental toughness, camaraderie, good nutrition habits, kinesthetic awareness, and proprioception.
BARWIS is the only private company that is currently employed to run professional sports teams’ sports science and medical departments, working with 7 pro teams in 4 different leagues. We are now accepting team applications and registrations for athletes at all levels in order to provide an innovative, trustworthy, and safe performance training foundation for athletes in our local community and beyond.
