THE FIRST STEP FOUNDATION
Neurological injuries can change a life in an instant, and access to specialized care can be out of reach for many families. BARWIS’ Neurological Re-Engineering program is built to restore movement, independence, and hope—but we know not everyone has the resources to begin. Through donations and scholarships, we help individuals take the first step toward recovery. Fill out the form below to see if you qualify for the First Step Program.

NEUROLOGICAL
RE-ENGINEERING
Rewire movement and motor control with BARWIS’s hands‑on, science‑based neural training to help restore strength and mobility.

HOW IT WORKS
If you’re recovering from an injury or neuromuscular condition, your journey starts with a thorough initial evaluation and an ARS Screening assessment allowing our expert trainers to create a customized program tailored specifically to your needs. One lead trainer will design your plan, while another supports you during your sessions.

Recovery often requires strength training to rebuild muscles and retrain your neuromuscular system. This process takes time and effort—it’s unique for everyone, with no one-size-fits-all solution. Your program will be based on science, regularly reviewed, and adjusted by your trainer to match your progress and goals.
Movement
Re-engineered.
Our Neurological Re-Engineering program uses cutting-edge science to retrain the brain-body connection, improving movement efficiency, motor control, and neuromuscular coordination. Designed for those recovering from injury or seeking peak performance, this hands-on approach combines targeted exercises, movement therapy, and neural activation techniques to restore strength, enhance mobility, and reduce injury risk. Train smarter, move better, and unlock your body’s full potential.
BARWIS ARS SCREENING
Our Neurological Re-Engineering program starts with and ARS (Activation Resistance Synergy) Screening to evaluate every joint and muscle using a handheld force device, identifying movement imbalances and compensatory patterns that can increase injury risk
STEP #1

STEP #2
Data is entered into the BARWIS ARS system, which analyzes neuromuscular imbalances.
Based on results, you'll receive a tailored corrective exercise program—complete with video support via the BARWIS Anywhere app.
STEP #3

CUTTING-EDGE METHODS
Uses a proprietary system to retrain the nervous system and restore motor control, going beyond traditional rehab.
CUSTOM & HANDS ON
Every program is custom-built through detailed assessments to meet each client’s unique neurological needs.
PROVEN RESULTS
Helps clients regain strength, mobility, and independence, with real success stories across spinal cord injuries, strokes, and more.
