BARWIS is home to thousands of collegiate, Olympic, and professional athletes whose bodies require the utmost attention to detail. Whether you are training with us at one of our centers or remotely, the magic lies within the phasing of our programs.

Our training cycles transcend all aspects of physiological development and include all of the following components:

These dimensions of training are adapted and phased regularly for the individual athlete’s needs and the demands of his or her specific sport and position. Through the development of these areas and tailored adaptive training cycles, we are able to improve power, force production, acceleration, deceleration, mobility, top speed, explosiveness, reaction, conditioning, balance, core stability, speed, agility, confidence, mental toughness, good nutrition habits, kinesthetic awareness, and proprioception.

BASEBALL

Our baseball/softball programs are built to focus on the mechanics and movement patterns necessary to excel at any level of play. BARWIS baseball training focuses on improving rotational power, mobility exercises for injury prevention, speed and agility techniques, and strength where needed most for the demands of the sport. Our pro athletes down to our very own BARWIS Baseball youth teams learn that building the athlete is part of becoming a better player year after year.

OFF-SEASON TRAINING

Our training cycles transcend all aspects of physiological development. Athletes are trained in areas of speed, agility, quickness, explosive training, Olympic weightlifting, conventional weight lifting, injury prevention movements, plyometrics, core, balance, functional training, bioenergetics related to the individual sport, nutrition, flexibility, proprioception, and various other practices.
 
We use these tactics and individual assessment results to develop a personalized program. Through corrective exercises and training protocols that will improve what the athlete needs to focus on when it comes to speed, agility, strength, power, force, acceleration, deceleration, mobility, explosiveness, reaction, conditioning, balance, core stability, and confidence.
 
All of these dimensions of training are adapted and phased regularly for the individual athlete and the demands of his or her sport. Our personal training includes the highest level of training for ultimate performance results.
